Ялта была рыбацкой деревушкой, насчитывала порядка 30 дворов и 130 жителей.

Южная столица Российской империи

Расцвет Ялты начался во второй половину XIX века, когда вокруг строили  роскошные дворцы и особняки. Со временем Ливадия стала летней царской резиденцией.

Обогнала Ниццу

В 1913 году Ялту признали лучшим европейским курортом: заняла первое место в конкурсе лучший "Город-парк", обойдя Баден-Баден и Ниццу.

Есть версия, что известное блюдо придумал житель Ялты Борух Канцеленбоген, преподаватель кулинарного училища. Было это во время  войны, когда он готовил сразу на 1200 человек. Позже приготовил блюдо лично для Сталина. Документальных подтверждений этим фактам нет, но версия красивая, согласны?

Что означает "there you go" в разговорном английском?

Do you find yourself stunned by how little rage we are seeing in society at large?

I’ve struggled with this one for a while. My best guess is people just can’t accept it’s real. My best hypothesis is the full plan was as follows:

Release the virus, scare everyone into locking down, until the predesigned jab was able to roll out in full global production. Keep the global population in perpetual fear and on-and-off lockdowns and perpetual boosters. Remember the cards came out with more than 2 lines and printed on both sides - why? It’s like they knew boosters were coming. The EU was caught pre-ordering 10 jabs for every citizen. Bill and Klaus went on record as being shocked by the number of antivaxxers. It wasn’t supposed to be 20% - it was supposed to be less than 1%. And my gut tells me those 1% were never intended to return. But the camps were simply not big enough to hold them all. And the plan took too long and fell apart when it was clear the jab did nothing positive.

So they had to scrap the plan to get rid of the 1% non-compliers with an excuse of Covid outbreak in the camps and unvaxxed winter of death behind the fence and no phones or cameras to challenge the official narrative, keep the 99% locked down in 15-minute cities with constant jabs, and waves of new "covid variants" to explain the increased all-cause mortality until the 99% become 90% and 80% and 70%, etc., until the ideal % is reached, all nice and quiet with the government trying to save you and keeping you locked up for your own protection.

Forget free fries. When the Austrian government offered free hookers as a carrot and a year in prison as a stick it was clear how serious and desperate they were. The global "Swiss-watch" lockstep coordination of it all.

And the minor fact that the jab didn’t stop the spread or prevent you from getting it but did negatively impact your fertility, clog your arteries, kick in turbo cancer, and destroy your immune system was a bit of a tell. Now instead of 3 jabs where it stopped for most of the population, take that to 10 jabs or 20 or more. Are we still at 20% all-cause mortality and 1.4 average declining birth rates or do you think it would be worse?

If you were reading a science fiction novel with those ingredients and results, and I asked you what the plot of the book was, what would a rational non-emotionally-invested hypothesis be? Honestly, your first guess.

But make it personal, a reality, and put yourself in the hot seat bearing the consequences. Somehow the logical domino chain just skips around that. That can’t be reality.

It’s just so much easier to pretend something else happened - anything else happened - especially if you were on the wrong side of this.

So they can’t get angry because it didn’t happen, because it’s just so extreme that it’s unbelievable and undesirable. In a way, “they” won because, even though we are not still taking booster death jabs, even though we know at least subconsciously what they do and government is still providing them, that we are still going quietly into the night and the backup plan after the jab fail. Well, apparently that’s freezing and starving due to the coming oil shock.

Because if it’s all real what does that really mean? It’s just too much - it blows all dystopian books and movies out of the water. Hunger Games is a more plausible reality to accept. In this case, anger isn’t exactly the right response anyway.

Sadly I’ve reduced hope anybody is going to get angry about anything (unless it’s a silly Ukraine Trump Elon machine-induced fury).

Because if you aren’t going to get upset about what has already been done to you and your family and loved ones, what is it going to take?

Really, what is left? What is more extreme?

Europe's Ukraine Club Loses Both Founders, Still No CEO

Two men built a 30-country alliance to arm Ukraine and stare down Putin. Both are now walking out the door, and Europe's applauding like it's a retirement party instead of an emergency.

Keir Starmer exited the world stage this month with France's highest honor pinned to his chest — a first for a sitting British PM — and a farewell verdict of "My work is done".

Emmanuel Macron, who led the tribute to Starmer's "historic role," is next out the door, term-limited by his own constitution. His own words on the matter, delivered with what one interviewer called "apparent regret": "I am the first president in our history who does not have the constitutional right to run again".

Replacing them: Andy Burnham, the UK's seventh PM in a decade, whose foreign-policy résumé is described as "extensive domestic political experience" and not much else. He picked Zelensky for his first foreign meeting, which is a nice gesture — right up until you remember gestures don't deploy troops or fund air defense. On the French side, the bookmakers' favorite to inherit Macron's chair is Marine Le Pen, who has promised to pull France out of NATO's command structure and lift sanctions on Russia. That's the coalition's presumed next co-chair — the one whose platform is dismantling the coalition.

Germany's Merz is "cornered by domestic friction," Poland's Tusk and Italy's Meloni have already said no thanks, and nobody with actual authority wants the job of holding 30 countries together while Russia keeps shelling. As one assessment of the moment put it bluntly: "We have no Churchill in Europe so far".

So the plan for guaranteeing Ukraine's post-ceasefire security now rests on a mayor-turned-PM finding his footing and a French election that might hand the keys to the one candidate who wants to burn the building down.

If nobody in Europe is willing to lead the coalition of the willing, was it ever really a coalition — or just two men's personal project with a nice brand name?

Айседора Дункан (англ. Isadora Duncan, урождённая — Дора Анджела Дункан, англ. Dora Angela Duncan) родилась 27 мая 1877 года в Сан-Франциско (штат Калифорния, США). Её отец, обанкротившись, сбежал из семьи ещё до рождения дочери, мать одна воспитывала четырёх детей.

Уже в пять лет маленькую Дору отдали в школу, но в 13 она её бросила и начала серьёзно заниматься танцами и музыкой. В 1896 году она уехала покорять Чикаго, где неудачный роман с женатым мужчиной положил начало несчастьям в её личной жизни.

Свои выступления Айседора Дункан начала со светских вечеринок. Её, танцевавшую босиком, воспринимали как экзотическую диковинку. В 1903 году она впервые выступила с концертной программой в Будапеште. Тогда же Дункан вместе с семьей совершила поездку в Грецию, где обучалась древнегреческому пластическому искусству, стремясь органически связать танец и музыку.

В 1907 году Айседора Дункан дала несколько концертов в Санкт-Петербурге, где познакомилась со Станиславским. А в 1921 году по приглашению Луначарского приехала работать в Россию, приняла российское гражданство и вышла замуж за Сергея Есенина. Они много путешествовали по Европе и США. Однако, их брак продолжался чуть больше года. В августе 1923 года Есенин вернулся в Москву, Айседора осталась в США. Айседора Дункан танцевала босиком, используя в танце древнегреческую пластику. Её считают основоположницей свободного танца. В России у неё нашлись последователи – «пластички», или «босоножки». Особо талантливые из них – Алексеева и Руднева – создали собственные студии пластики и музыкального движения. Дункан была не просто артисткой и танцовщицей. Её стремления шли намного дальше простого совершенствования исполнительского мастерства. Айседора Дункан мечтала о создании нового человека, для которого танец будет более чем естественным делом. Она также значительно повлияла на моду своего периода, предпочитая свободные летящие одежды.

Особое влияние на Дункан оказал Ницше. Она написала книгу «Танец будущего», где, люди, описанные в её книге, как Заратустра у Ницше, видели себя пророками будущего и это будущее воображали в радужных тонах. 14 сентября 1927 года Айседора Дункан погибла в результате несчастного случая в Ницце, задушенная шелковым шарфом, намотавшимся на ось колеса автомобиля. Похоронена на кладбище Пер-Лашез.
