Hybrid Designs PLC is seeking a Partnership & Placement Officer I (FetroAder) for the Entrepreneurship in the Digital and Gig Economy (EDGE) program. The EDGE program is a five-year national initiative developed by the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with Hybrid Designs to unlock over 300,000 dignified employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth across Ethiopia. The officer will be essential for driving the "Youth in Work" (YiW) target by coordinating the end-to-end "Pathway to Work" through formalized gig-work linkages on the Qegnet and Fetroader platforms. This is a one-year contract with a possible extension up to four years, reporting to the Partnership & Placement Lead. 📂 Qualifications:
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator is required, featuring a proven track record of managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations. Prior experience working within non-profit organizations (NGOs) or UN organizations is mandatory. Experience with Mastercard Foundation programs or other Youth Livelihood and Women Empowerment initiatives is highly desirable.
• Key Skills: Strong understanding of decentralized business models and the food delivery industry. Expertise in relationship management with local government offices, private entities, and community associations. Ability to coordinate complex logistics across multiple regional locations. Project management skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure long-term partnerships. Strong organizational skills to manage the smooth transition from training to active work. Ability to work effectively in inclusive and gender-sensitive environments, particularly with young mothers and school dropouts.

• Responsibilities:Lead the coordination of the "Pathway to Work" to ensure trained youth are successfully linked to active work opportunities on the Qegnet and Fetroader platforms.Professionalize the matching process between talented gig workers and corporate brands to reduce transition times between training and employment.
Develop and manage the connection of creative talent to specific client needs, including custom design work and digital asset management on Qegnet.Manage the placement of youth into roles for product activation, digital moderation, and affiliate marketing through Fetroader.Monitor and ensure that placements result in dignified work and consistent earnings for the targeted youth demographics.Work with training leads to ensure curriculum and training materials remain aligned with the specific requirements of marketplace clients and sales force partners.
