Shaykh Abdul Baqi Miftah (one of the foremost living experts regarding Shaykh al Akbar ibn Arabi) writes, based on the writings of Shaykh Ibn Arabi (d. 1240 AD) relating from ancient chronicles that the Pyramids were built when the star of the Eagle (al-Nasr, i.e. Vega) stood in Leo, whereas in his day it stood in Capricorn — which implies the Pyramids were built some 9,000–11,000 years before his time, i.e. around 7500–9800 BC. This antediluvian dating fits the oral and chronicle tradition (the Surid/Hermes legend) that attributes the Pyramids to Idris عليه السلام— who built them before the Flood to preserve the sciences from destruction, which he knew would come one day. Modern archaeology dates the Giza pyramids to ~2600 BC, which many revisionists like Graham Hancock find ridiculous. And knowing that the buffoon Zahi Hawwas dies on this hill makes me believe Graham is right.

This is very interesting.
Especially when taking into account that many link Prophet Idris (Biblical Enoch) as being Hermes Trismegistus.
This is not meant as an endorsement of Graham Hancock. But one thing he does get right is that human beings have had advanced technology and civilizations for a long time.
And the discovery of Gobekli Tepe and other such sites means humans were far more advanced thousands of years prior to the pseudo scientific Darwinian evolution narrative.
The Western racist eugenicist archaeologists like Flinders Petrie could never countenance the fact that Greece and Rome derived their civilization from Egypt and Mesopotamia. They also couldn’t accept that the ancient world wasn’t entirely white skinned, see the reaction to Dr Martin Bernal’s (Oxford) work Black Athena.
Sites like Mohenjo Daro and Harappa in the Indus Valley, the existence of the Shang dynasty in China, and even the sites of the Trojan War, were only discovered and confirmed as real in the past century.
Meanwhile people like Dr. Barry Fell (Edinburgh/Harvard) tried to prove that ancient civilizations like Rome, Carthage, Egypt, Phoenicians, and Celts had contact with the Americas well before the time of Jesus Christ (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ). Though his speciality was in Zoology and his claims have been dismissed, they are worth another look. He mentions the importance of Arabic.
And we know for a fact that the Muslims had deciphered the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs over 1,000 years before Napoleon’s team found the Rosetta Stone. And that the translators relied heavily upon Arabic.
We don’t need to blindly accept or reject either the Afrocentrist or Eurocentric narratives. The Greeks like Pythagoras, Herodotus, Plato and co were at least honest about learning from Egypt and Asia. (At this point the existence of dragons and Atlantis wouldn’t be that shocking!)
Nor do we blindly accept or reject the Royal Society, Jesuit historians, Oxford/Cambridge dons. Their claims should all be evaluated on their merits. To do this one has to be free from the institutional biases and presuppositions of the Globalist Atheistic Secular Paradigm (GASP).
Sound metaphysical principles and rigorous academic analysis will eventually make it clear what we can accept as true and what we can discard as propaganda, in any field whether it be the rational sciences, the hard sciences (see the alchemical exploits of the Bank of England agent Issac Newton), or the social sciences and arts.
